Diana Penty Mastered A Minimalistic Look With Such Ease: We LOVE
Here at the Hauterfly HQ, we are as pleased as punch when a celebrity walks out in a coveted ensemble. Of late though, I’ve found it difficult to trace an uber-stylish something on a well-known someone. There was Esha Gupta who slayed in a pair of suspender pants, but that’s about it.
But thanks to a few promotional gigs happening in town, we’ve finally got to see Diana Penty working some great casual styles like a pro. She’s being styled by Elle’s Fashion Editor Nidhi Jacob, and for this particular ensemble, Penty has mastered the minimalist look like no other.
TBH, one can never go wrong with a white shirt. This collarless shirt from Love Birds is rightly styled with a pair of overlap trousers in indigo from Bodice. Quite a pick for a day event I must say, it’s stylish yet minimalist, with all the signs of looking effortlessly chic. I like how this basic attire is amped up by the only accessory she’s donned — a blue brick pixel neckpiece from Maithili Kabre. The actress completed her attire with a pair of what looks like a Pull & Bear platform heeled sandal in tan (that’s currently out of stock). She kept to an au naturel makeup.
A white shirt can clearly outweigh any other outfit in terms of potential. Though it seems basic, it’s a piece that can totally transform your look, given how well you style it. This same white shirt can be styled in a cool way by teaming it up with a pair of tasseled-hem pants and a pair of mules. If you’re looking to create an impression, wear it under a spaghetti strap midi dress, and team it up with a pair of sneakers. All in all, a perfect piece for when you want to alter between ladylike and androgynous, casual chic and well-dressed, and so on.
