#LustList: Farozan Would Move To London For This Trench

By  |

Here’s the thing, I’m a practical girl. If I am going to splurge, it better be an investment that I can reap a lifetime of use out of. Something I’ll hand over to my kids. But guess what, when it came to choosing my #LustList pick, I threw all logic out of the window. You see, I HAD to pick a classic Burberry trench. Nothing else seemed right, considering the many afternoons I’ve spent drooling over the Art Of The Trench. Trust me, you’re going to feel some major fashion FOMO while incessantly scrolling through.

Burberry Sandringham Trench Coat

What especially draws me to the Sandringham trench is the impeccable tailoring — it’s meant to hug your body and the fitted waist is to die for! The Sandringham is inspired by the Burberry Heritage Archive, and it is chock full of tiny details like the tailoring — did we already cover that? The sexy iconic check features in the undercoat (points for being there, without being in your face). I absolutely love the fact that I can monogram the coat — if that doesn’t define understated luxury, I don’t know what does. The patented waterproof cotton is plus, making this piece something you’d reach out for, come rain or shine.

I know it’s slightly ridiculous, choosing a trench coat, since I live in Mumbai, but I really do love my jackets and we all know that layering on a cover up is the easiest way to look chic in a hurry! Who knows, one day, when I’m abroad and I have a 1,000+ pounds to blow on clothes, I’ll definitely be heading to Burberry! The trench starts at a cool Rs 1,35,000, but if you’ve got the money and want to invest in a piece of outerwear that will last you ages, go ahead and check out Burberry’s Sandringham trench.
