Billy Porter Arrived In A Gown At The Oscars And We Love It!

Pop singer and actor, Billy Porter walked down the red carpet at Oscars in a Christian Siriano velvet gown on his back and husband Adam Smith on his arm, and gave us and Twitter too many goals to keep calm. If there were an Oscar for the best dressed, Billy porter would win without an inch of a doubt. If there were an Oscar for making the best and boldest statement, Billy Porter would win that too. And if there were any other Oscar about anything at all, Billy Porter would probably bag that as well.

Looking as fierce as a goddess, Billy recreated the iconic look of Hector Xtravaganza of the House of Xtravaganza and did it justice. Calling himself ‘Cinder-fella’ in an Instagram post where ha can be seen arriving in his golf cart chariot, Billy in an interview with Vogue shared how at the first fitting of the gown, “I felt alive. I felt free. And open, and radiant. And beautiful! Which has not always been the case for me.”

Sam Ratelle, the stylist for Porter picked Christian Siriano’s masterpiece with a ball gown skirt, black bow tie and silk lapels, all too classy and too high fashion for anyone else at the red carpet to surpass him.

Impressed fans took to twitter to show their love and deep admiration for his look and went on to say how he set the bar for everyone else, impossibly high.
