Anushka Sharma Is Here To Make Your Day With Her Pink Velvet Pantsuit
Anushka Sharma has had a long-running love affair with power dressing. A crisp pantsuit has always been her go-to, whether it was her custom-made red pantsuit by designer Nikhil Thampi at the Indian Sports Honours event, her brocade Roberto Cavalli suit, her black crepe front-zip suit from Céline, or her Namrata Joshipura power suit during the Jab Harry Met Sejal promotion. Anushka’s style has always been very androgynous, and she carries the look off with so much ease and elegance!
Anushka did another power suit look recently. She wore a pretty dusty rose velvet pantsuit to director Anand L Rai’s birthday bash. The jacket was sleeveless and tied up in the front, while the pants had a flared hem. She styled the look with a pair of nude strappy sandals and oversized silver hoops. A fresh face of minimal makeup and hair worn in a sleek centre part rounded her look.
Velvet is a fabric that not everyone can carry, and it can look rather tacky if not done right. But this pantsuit perfectly flattered Anushka’s petite figure, and the colour was just right. We love how she styled it with simple accessories. Looks like the pantsuit is a no-fail for the actress.
