Aditi Rao Hydari Sports An Edgy Look On Grazia’s June Cover
We’ve been very vocal about how much we love Aditi Rao Hydari’s style here at Hauterfly. In fact, I even christened her one of THE style stars to watch in 2016. And I’m so glad that she hasn’t (yes, not once!) proved me wrong. Her pretty face can carry everything from a fierce look to a casual one effortlessly. That’s also why I wasn’t surprised when Grazia India chose her as the cover star for their High Street issue this month.
The denim-on-denim look on Aditi is unlike what’s usually the norm in styling — the faded shirt is coordinated with a pair of ripped denims in the same hue. What I’m digging though is that slight punk vibe in her look. It is pretty darn cool, no? Not overt but just in the right amount. Quite a back-to-the-90s look, she wears layered chokers from Intrinsic and Accessorize, and a faux septum ring. She’s also wearing earrings from Blur and a couple of midi rings. The highlight of the look is the Princess Leai-inspired hair, which makeup artist Elton Fernandez has twisted into messy cinnamon buns.
When I take a closer look, I don’t think anyone else could work this look better than Aditi. Tell me if you agree? I’d love to know what you think of the Grazia cover!
