And turns out, we have a few Spice Girls fanatics among our desi fashion girls as well. While we can’t be sure if they indeed grooved to these tunes (why wouldn’t you?), we are definitely sure that the best thing to come out of it was…Victoria Beckham. After the girl group disbanded, the members went on to build vastly different yet successful careers. Victoria herself became a bonafide fashion icon and one of the most popular fashion designers in the world. Now that’s we call ‘Girl Power’!

The designer recently shared some moments from a yacht party with iconic pop singer Elton John. She went through two outfit changes while on this boat ride, both the same dress but in different colours. This fact was not missed by our own style icon Deepika, who commented, “I want this dress!!!in both the colours you wore them in”. Takes a true fashionista to spot the subtle detail and we love it!
Seems like Deepika, who is currently on an extended trip to London with husband Ranveer Singh, is eyeing the dress for her own travels. And why not, the breezy silhouette is smart and comfortable. If we are spending an entire day taking in the ocean air on a boat, we’d choose a dress of this kind too! The actress does seem like a genuine fan of Victoria’s designs. She wore sleek separates from the label for her episode of 73 Questions With Vogue as well!
