20 Standout Looks From Amazon India Fashion Week AW2016
The Autumn/Winter edition of Amazon India Fashion Week 2016 was quite a visual extravaganza and put us in the mood for reinventing our wardrobes with all the runway inspiration coming our way in each of the shows. Some of my favourite collections included Rimzim Dadu’s painstakingly handcrafted collection (those fluid metallic pieces were beyond gorgeous), Amit Aggarwal’s futuristic silhouettes, Hemant & Nandita’s gorgeous retro flavour (I think I want every piece from that collection), and Gaurav Gupta’s glitter-bomb suit. However, the one collection that stood out was by Rajesh Pratap Singh. His textile mastery with gold zari and foil woven into garments was the perfect recipe for understated, gilded glamour.
