Bipasha, being a bong, is obviously blessed with gorgeous hair. However, she keeps them tresses from breaking and falling by treating them with onion juice every week. In one of her posts, she shared the recipe, “Onion Juice!!!!!!!!!!!!! I make a pulp of 2 red onions… then strain the juice out… apply on scalp… gentle massage for few minutes and leave it for an hour and wash and condition. Once a week I have started doing this. This is done to stop hair fall and increase hair growth. I put plain onion juice. If you want you can add virgin coconut oil, lavender oil or lemon to it too(sic).”

When asked about the secret behind her long and luscious mane in an interview, Janhvi Kapoor revealed she feeds her hair with natural ingredients from her kitchen and pantry. She said, “I put a lot of food in my hair—eggs, beer, and methi. Some people also go with onion juice but methi is where I draw the line.” Eggs help conditioning hair, beer is great for oily scalp and methi, which is fenugreek is used for strengthening hair follicles. Whatever hair woe you are dealing with, you know what to do. Head straight to the kitchen!

Raveena Tandon’s amla hair mask

The 90’s star has taken extremely good care of her hair and it shows. Her secret? Amla! She suggested in her Instagram post, “So, if you have thin or falling hair, eat a few amlas every day.” She went on to share her amla hair mask recipe. “For this, boil around six amlas in a cup of milk till it turns soft. Remove the seeds and mash the amla pulp thoroughly in the milk. Now, massage the pulp gently on your scalp and leave it for about 15 minutes before washing off with warm water. The best part about using this hair pack is that one need not use shampoo after this because the sourness in the amla removes all dirt from the hair, leaving it clean and silky,” she said.

She said in an interview, “I like to follow a basic haircare routine at home, after washing my hair, I leave it to airdry. I prefer wrapping my head in a hot towel, apart from being very calming, it makes the hair softer. Another essential practice is oiling, it makes my hair feel great.” The starlet also said that yogurt is her go-to haircare ingredient to get smooth hair in a jiffy.”

Could you believe a Bollywood celebrity who has all the branded hair oils at her disposal, prepares her own with a bunch of natural ingredients? That’s what Malaika does. She makes a hair oil by mixing olive oil, castor oil and coconut oil and infusing a handful of fenugreek (methi seeds) and curry leaves for a few days. She said, “On the weekends I get a nice oil massage or champi and I’ve been doing this for years. Add a little warm oil to your hair and massage it in circular motions. I can assure you that your hair will start looking thicker, more lustrous, with less hair fall.”
