Lakme Fashion Week may have ended—that too on a high note, thanks to Bebo—but that does not mean we will stop drooling over what we saw. Today we are talking about some of the gorgeous looks that Lakmé Makeup Expert, Daniel Bauer and Donald Simrock created for fashion week.

If you didn’t already know, makeup plays a key role in helping a look come together on the ramp. And that’s why we loved the fact that this time the makeup was natural and fresh, save for bold eyes and bold lips. I mean, who does not love bold eyes and lips?

1. FRESH, DEWY SKIN

We noticed the generous use of highlighter, and we have to say that the results are absolutely stunning. Paired with bronzy eyes and a subtle lip colour, the sensual and sophisticated dewy look stood out.

2. ALL ABOUT EYES

From Kareena Kapoor Khan’s black smokey eye to Disha Patani’s stunning pink eyes, we have become a fan of bold eyes (as if we weren’t already!). The use of glitter on the lower lashline creates the perfect look for weddings, don’t you think? The blue and black eyeshadows at Narendra Kumar Ahmed’s show also took us back to the 80s.

3. GO NATURAL

Light pink lips, barely-there eyeshadow, and just a tinge of blush gave Indian wear a fresh, new makeover! We forecast that the no-makeup makeup look is going to continue to be a rage this year as well. Are you listening, brides-to-be?

4. CHISELLED CHEEKBONES

The chiselled look is one of the sexiest makeup looks. A strong jawline and high cheekbones add a sensual look, and we saw a lot of this at LFW.

Bipasha Basu sure does look like a princess in red, and there’s nothing better than that red lip to go with this outfit. Personally, I am a sucker for bold—especially red—lips and it adds such a character to the ensemble.

6. ROSY CHEEKS

No makeup look is ever complete without a tinge of pink or coral on your cheeks. While the entire makeup was kept natural and fresh, these looks saw a generous use of blush, and we completely love it! Sushmita Sen and Aditi Rao Hydari are proof that blush can make you look like a real princess.
