How To Do A Fierce Eyeliner Like Sonam Kapoor
You know how I keep saying it’s all about the balance? Hair, make-up and your outfit are like the Holy trinity of great personal style. It’s all about synchronising your ensemble to create a pitch perfect look, and that’s precisely what Sonam Kapoor has done here. The first and only word that comes to mind is FIERCE. That Ashish Soni outfit — with its exaggerated shoulders — was a real stunner, and she teamed it beautifully with a plain gold choker and chunky gold heels. And then there’s the makeup.
I absolutely LOVE the sharp, falcon-like eyeliner Sonam is wearing. It’s what I see in a lot of Arabic smokey eye videos. I’m glad she didn’t go with an overpowering eyeshadow and stuck to neutrals though. The winged eyeliner is ferocious by itself, but look what she did with her hair. It is softly rolled at the front and tied in a messy knot at the nape of her neck. This softens the sharp effect of the eyes perfectly. A pulled-back, tight hairdo like the model on the ramp would have looked too extreme.
To cop her look, line your eyes in an exaggerated winged-tip eyeliner. Sharpen the inner corners by extending it slightly out of the lashline. Remember, there’s no room for mistakes here. The tips have to be sharp. Don’t forget to fill in your brows and groom them. After all, strong brows hold your look together!
