Get The Look: Sonam Kapoor’s Soft Cut Crease Makeup Look
It’s a known fact that Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor make a powerful duo, and are fashion geniuses when it comes to styling an outfit. Proving us right again, for the 150th anniversary of IWC Schaffhausen, Sonam Kapoor dressed up like a modern day Barbie doll in a head-to-toe pink Rosie Assoulin outfit.
She picked a pink ruffled halter neck top, which she paired with a voluminous pink skirt and oversized pink denim jacket. She paired the look with a pair of Chopard earrings and a nude clutch from Ahikoza. A look like this is a rather hard one to style, but of course, Sonam pulls it off like a boss.
Her makeup was on point as well. For this Rosie Assoulin look, she wore a simple yet dreamy cut crease makeup look. Her eye makeup was in icy hues with a stark brown in her crease to contour her eyes. She wore her hair in a sleek deep side-parted low bun. She topped the look off with nude glossy lips and a fresh face of makeup.
Here is a breakdown of how you can get her beauty look:
Start by applying a neutral colour lightweight concealer on your eyelids, and set it using a powder. This sets a neutral base for the light hue eye shadow.
Don’t forget to fill your eyebrows in soft hair-like upward strokes.
Now apply a brown hue eyeshadow in the crease in a sweeping motion to contour your lids. Deposit some brown eyeshadow in the outer corner as well.
Taking a pearl white shade (make sure you don’t use a stark white) and apply it all over your lids starting from the inner corner.
P.S. Make sure you blend the white and brown together, so there are no stark lines visible.
Add some drama with a bold winged liner.
To further accentuate the drama, just mascara will not cut it. Pop on a pair of long and voluminous false lashes.
To blend your natural lashes and the false lashes together, apply a generous coat of mascara.
Dust some highlighter onto your brow bone and the inner corner of your eyes.
Finish the eye look by dusting the same brown eyeshadow you used for your crease, under your eyes to add depth to your look
Top the look up with a nude glossy lip.
