You’ve GOT To Try The Smokey Lip Trend
Buh-bye smokey eyes, since this season has been about all kinds of glitter eye makeup trends, it’s time to shift the smokey effect to your lips. Now, this isn’t a new trend, it’s one that started back in August 2016, and seems to have officially become a thing. Lipstick Queen released a Smokey Lip Kit late last summer, and well, check it out.

It comes with either an option of a plum or a nude-pink shade, plus the Black Lace Rabbit lipstick. And it’s the black rabbit that does all the magic. It acts as a veil on top of your lipstick — sheer, glittery, and fabulous! This is what creates a smokey effect on your lips.

Isn’t it just everything? You can even wear the Black Lace Rabbit on a matte shade of your own choice.
Luxury beauty brand Chanel is also launching a lipstick top coat in the spring of 2017. It’s a sheer, onyx lip gloss that you can wear on top of your lipstick to create a smoky effect. Sure, it isn’t out yet, but I’m super excited for the spring collection! Chanel’s version is slightly more grunge than the Lipstick Queen version and can be worn on any shade.
