The Modern Way To Wear Gold Shadow, Courtesy Priyanka Chopra
It’s that time of the year when we step into increased humidity and ain’t nobody got time for layers of heavy makeup! So, I was looking for some easy, breezy makeup inspiration when I chanced upon this super modern beauty look. Priyanka Chopra has been doing the media rounds for her new Baywatch movie. And just last week, during one of her promotional appearances abroad, she was seen sporting this seriously cool look.
Check out her look below, where she’s seen wearing some lightweight foundation and a sexy, nude lip. But neither of those are the highlight of the look.
Just look at those golden lids! I love how clean and simple this look is, and so fuss-free. Here’s how you can follow.
Here’s how you can copy it:
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Eye Shadow Base
1. Prep Your Lids
Prep your lids like you would your face, with some eyeshadow primer. If you’ve run out of that or don’t have one handy, use some concealer instead and dab on loose powder to stop your eyeshadow from creasing.

* Available at Estée Lauder stores across India
Of course, as I always say, do not forget your eyebrows! Brush a tinted mascara through them, combing them into place for a subtle, defined look.

3. Gold Shadow
Opt for a gold shadow that doesn’t have too many shimmer particles. The one PC is wearing is more metallic than shimmer. It’s got a slightly yellow tinge too. Apply it with your fingers (avoid using the index finger, as it can apply too much pressure, and use your ring finger instead). Then, take a blending brush to make sure it looks seamless.
Priyanka Chopra isn’t wearing any false eyelashes. So we’re going to keep this look easy too. Just comb out your lashes with a lengthening mascara and you’re done!
