New Beauty Product Launches That Have Us All Excited
We’ve resumed office. I don’t want to say it out loud lest coronavirus hears us and decides to get more aggressive and lock us back in our homes. And because we are back at work, we are wearing sunscreen and makeup and wait for it…winged eyeliner again. You can be a judgy judgerson and be like but your winged liner was never nice but I don’t want that kind of negativity in my life right now.
And as salaries go back to what they were, we have a little more money to spend. Last year, I spent all of my time at home which means that I wasn’t really looking to buy anything new. But ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to really indulge in some retail therapy. I can’t confirm or deny but I may have spent a significant amount already on skincare, makeup and haircare products because I felt so deprived last year.
And here are some of the products I have got my eye on. Faaine…I will admit I have my eyes on a lot more products but here are some that have caught my eye.
Clinique Moisture Surge 100-Hour Auto-Replenshing Hydrator
For a long time now, I have been a fan of Clinique’s Moisture Surge. It’s lightweight, hydrating and makes my skin feel like it’s had a huge gulp of water. And yet, my skin doesn’t feel greasy. As you can tell, I am a fan. And so when Clinique came out with a 100-hour auto replenishing hydrator, I practically jumped out of my seat. First of all, and I don’t want to shout but 100 HOUR HYDRATION! And it goes 10 layers deep! Which means that all the layers of your skin are feeling like they’ve received rain on a parched day. This 100-hour auto replenishing hydrator has aloe vera bio-ferment and hyaluronic acid which are all skin-loving ingredients. I imagine I am going to wear this and as I step out, my hair will gently fly in the wind to reveal my plump, hydrated, glowing skin that will make people stare and wonder who this beauty is (that would be me). Okay, that might not happen but I have tried the 72 hours moisture surge and that worked amazingly so I have lots of hopes from this one.
Oh by the way, Clinique also launched their even better concealers and those are kickass- great coverage, doesn’t try the under eyes and makes you look like you’re fully rested.
Forest Essentials Beauty Collection Has New Makeup Additions
Last year, Forest Essentials forayed into makeup with their very sexy tinted lip serums that were so wonderfully fragrant and made my lips look extremely kissable. The one that I had smelled like roses and even if I wasn’t doing any kissing, I was slathering it on with a passion. And now, Forest Essentials has added new makeup to their collection- this time there are skin tints, cheek tints, and a lash and brow serum. The Som Rasa Silk Skin Tint is a lightweight formulation that blurs out imperfections while also delivering the goodness of oils to your skin. It gives you a dewy finish. The Noor Nikhar Cheek Tint has me all excited. This is a mousse-y cheek tint and I have always dreamed of flushed cheeks and I imagine this would deliver on that. The collection also has the Nayantara Clear Lash & Brow Serum which has amla and fenugreek extract which helps grow and restore your lash and eyebrow hair. We can’t wait to try this one out.
