This Serum Is Giving Mansi’s Skin All The Hydration It Needs And Then Some

By  |

Okay, I will admit it. I am a bit of a skincare junkie. I have an elaborate night time skincare routine involving cleansing, toning, moisturising, serum-ing (Yes, I made up that word) and all of that.  No one is allowed to touch my face at this point, there’s too much anti-ageing power at work here. And while this was working for me, my skin looking radiant and nice in the morning so I could turn up at work without a stitch of makeup, I was pretty sure I would limit it to night time. No way I was going to have so much time in the morning.

But then, I met this Neemli Naturals Hyaluronic & Vitamin C Serum and we had a moment. Suddenly, there was a way to start my day with smoother, plumper skin without having skin so oily it attracted dust from far corners of the city.

When this landed on my desk, I was in a bit of a conundrum. Would I be able to wear it without looking oily? Hyaluronic acid for the day? A good idea or vat of oil? This could go either way. Turns out, I was overthinking, as I do with pretty much everything in life.

This product comes out in gel form but when you apply it on your face, it practically disappears. In fact, it sinks into your skin. It smells citrusy, I imagine this is the Vitamin C making its presence felt, and once applied, within seconds, your skin feels deeply hydrated.

You are thinking, but surely this is heavy? Honestly, I thought it would be. But it’s not. You can actually wear this during the day. Of course, it also says its age-defying but that’s a claim I haven’t fully tested out yet. For Rs 2250, this is a serum that I would recommend you get your hands on real quick and give your skin the intense dose of moisture it really needs!
