MAC’s October Launch Makes Us Want To Go Woof!
Sales and new product launches by my favourite brands – these are the two things that get me incredibly excited. And when the brand in question is MAC, I can’t wait to get to their stores and get my hands on their latest offerings. Its new canine-inspired collection called Haute Dogs (I’ve in love with that name already!) is a range of products in canine-inspired hues including “luscious, buttery fur tones, gold-spun sculpting powders, and regal berries for lips” and I’m already sold on the line. Perfect for the festive season ahead, I think!
Here are some of my favourite picks from the new collection:
Haute Dogs Mineralize Rich Lipstick in Labradorable (Rs 1,400)
This is a beautiful, wine coloured lipstick that is perfect for fall.
Haute Dogs Mineralize Rich Lipstick in Fashion Pack (Rs 1,400)
This pale pink colour is perfect for daily wear, on days when you don’t want your lips to look overpowering. It has the right amount of pink and nude hues IMO. Brownish nudes tend to make me look washed out.
Haute Dogs Mineralize Eye Shadow Quad in Pure Bred (Rs 3,400)
This eyeshadow quad is something that’s going to become a staple in my handbag. The silver cream and tan-gold are perfect for the day, while plum and deep brown can easily take me from work to party mode. Also, applying a smokey eye with this eyeshadow quad should be a dream.
Haute Dogs Fluidline in Catch My Eye (Rs 1,300)
By now the Fluidline range from MAC has built quite a solid reputation. And if the Haute Dogs collection is anything like its predecessor, then Catch My Eye can surely be my go-to colour. The shade is a cool taupe grey in a pearly finish. Grey is definitely a better substitute for black during the day, no?
Haute Dogs Sculpting/Shaping Powder in Shadester (Rs 1,800)
A mid-tone leathery brown, this sculpting powder is what one would need for contouring on fleek. However, if you’re a fan of overly sculpted cheekbones, this isn’t the product for you.
