Want Fuller Eyebrows & Longer Lashes? These 5 DIYs Actually Work!

By  |

It’s the age of the brows and everyone knows that. It’s bye-bye to the 90s and early 2000s thin and faux brows. For the past few years, we’re embracing everything au natural… even if that sometimes means skillfully drawing in brows that look supermodel thick! What? I ruined my brows when I over-tweezed them in college! I mean, even Kim Kardashian had a THIS phase.

But, it’s all good now. Thanks to her Armenian genes, we’re back here.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that for all of us and neither do we travel with a glam entourage. So, here are 5 DIYs from our favourite YouTube beauty gurus that are naturally effective for growing back both brow and lash hair for a fuller look, without any makeup! Did I mention that this is super easy on the wallet?

1. Farah Dhukai

Farah is the KWEEN of DIYs and the ones that your grandma would know about! We love that about her. In this video, she doesn’t just DIY, she gives some great tips on how to pick your ingredients. This is so easy.

2. Tanya Chaudhary

Blogger, Tanya, puts together a little something something for a potent lash and brow growth serum. This thick balm kind of formula is best when applied daily. Since it’s a balm consistency, you’d best store it in a small jar.

3. Huda Beauty

Huda is always sharing her tips on hair growth. (Here’s an updated video.) This isn’t just about the hair on your scalp! These tips help your lashes, brows, and the hair on your head! Follow these tips every day and you’ll see results.

4. Sheriza R

Sheriza uses coconut oil in this formula. Personally, I love coconut oil! Most desi people have been using coconut oil forever to increase hair growth and condition hair. So, this is super easy and natural. Like the others, it’s to be applied with a spoolie brush.

5. Farah’s Only Brow Formula

Unfortunately, we can’t use this on our eyelashes, but it does work for your scalp and your eyebrows. Since eyebrows are my main area of concern, I’m going to give this try. Although, I’m a little afraid of the smell!

Our beauty writer is also an amazing makeup artist (check out some of her awesome videos on the site!). This skincare enthusiast is also a bonafide globetrotter and boss babe.
