10 DIY Body Scrubs To Keep You Smooth All Summer Long!

I’ve told you all before: I love DIYs. The satisfaction it gives me to make something from scratch is unparalleled. I prefer making masks for my skin and hair whenever I have time to spare rather than relying on store-bought products. At least I know what’s going on my skin and hair. Since the hot and sultry season is upon us, I can’t help but douse myself in sunscreen. But that’s not enough skincare. Exfoliating skin becomes even more important in summer, and I prefer using natural exfoliators that one can easily fix up in the kitchen. And I’ve found some amazing recipes for DIY body scrubs that you can easily make at home for an impromptu spa session!

Once you’ve made them, be sure you store your DIY body scrubs in airtight containers and refrigerate them. As no preservatives are used in their preparation, they’re safe to use for up to a week. It is advisable to make them in small quantities so that you don’t have to waste any of it.
