#HauteHack: How To Make Your Own Glitter Eyeliner
My love affair with make-up started because I was enthralled with the world of colours. I find colours fascinating and mesmerising. I walk through the make-up aisle in a sort of trance, and nothing can shake me out of my reverie. Obviously then I love eyeshadows, eyeliners, blushes, and lipsticks far more than I like primers, foundations, and concealers.
I have said this fairly often that I love dressing up my eyes more than anything. I don’t shy away from the bold and dramatic look either. I’m always game for any tip or trick that promises to make my eyes look better. Imagine my delight when I came across this cool tip that lets you make your own glitter eye liner! Now we all know how expensive quality make-up can be, and we don’t mind spending moolah on it because we know we are going to use it frequently and get our money’s worth. But spending a bomb on a product that you won’t be wearing as often doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, which is why I think this make-up hack makes so much sense.
All you will need is eyelash glue and some loose glitter pigments. Line your eyes as close to the lashline as possible with eyelash glue. Be careful and ensure that none of it gets inside your eyes. Using a small angled brush press loose glitter on top of the glue. Do one eye at a time or the glue will dry up and the glitter pigments will not be able to adhere to it properly.
Go ahead, show off your bewitching, bedazzled eyes, girl!
