This All-Natural, Newly Launched Sunscreen Is Everything You Need For Summer
It’s not often that I write #HauteLists after trying a product for less than a few weeks, but when I do, you have to believe it is epic. I recently got my mitts on the soon-to-be-launched Forest Essentials Sun Fluid and boy, am I excited to tell you about it. P.S: This article has my first impressions of the product and I will update it after trying the product for a month, or so.
First things first, the Forest Essentials Sun Fluid is all-natural and boasts of a pretty impressive list of ingredients. The brand claims that only the most natural, safe, organic forms of sun protection available in nature are used in the formulation – Tender Coconut Water and Zinc Oxide are the sun-protection superheroes in this bottle. While Basil leaf infusions and Fennel seed extract help minimize the effect of the harsh UVA/UVB sun rays. I’m quite impressed by the amount of good-for-your-skin ingredients FE has managed to jam into one bottle. From moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid, to Turmeric Extract, Tulsi and Marigold Flowers.
What makes this sunscreen stand out from the rest is the texture, it’s surprisingly light, similar to that of a milky lotion or essence, which makes application a dream. Unlike other physical block sunscreens I’ve used, the product goes on sheer and doesn’t give my face a white cast, thanks to the micronized Zinc Oxide. In fact after application my face seemed glow-y, which I am going to attribute to the hydrating combination of several oils and Hyaluronic acid in the formula. The formula didn’t budge through my one hour commute from home to work and didn’t make my face look like the site of an oil spill (a problem I usually face), which makes it a #WIN!
