Pretty Hairstyles To Up Your Beauty Game This Festive Season
Come festive season, it is time to bring out your chicest clothes and most dazzling accessories. And with so many card parties, family dinners and poojas to attend, you want each look to be different. So of course, you’ve mastered that smokey eye and practised that winged liner, but hair is one place where we all get stuck in a rut.
It is lovely to leave your luscious locks open, but while eating, celebrating and socialising, the hair might just come in your way. Plus, basic boring hair can make you look repetitive. So in an attempt to beat the boredom, we’ve curated some of our favourite festive hairstyles that are easy to do and look chic AF!
Ponytails with Oomph!
An easy way to amp up that ponytail is to curl all the hair in your ponytail to give a polished look. Add an accessory for that extra glam. Chic twisted ponytails are minimal, yet intricate. Alternatively, you can add a little detail in your ponytail by braiding your hair from the crown section.
2. Braids with a twist
One of my go-to hairstyles when it comes to desi looks is the chic side braid. Basic, French, fishtail or mermaid style, the side-swept braid instantly looks desi chic. The trendy way to deck your side braid up is by adding fresh flowers to adorn it. Just pluck and tuck!
If flowers are too boho for you or do not go with your look, then you can opt for pearl embellishments instead. Or take a cue from Sonam Kapoor who wrapped her braid in mogras.
3. Bun-tastic Beauties
Another fuss-free option is the classic low bun. A way to make it interesting is to throw a French or milkmaid braid in. Though the messy low bun is called “messy”, it never really is. It has to be effortless and undone to the point where it looks pretty, not lousy. Easier said than done. A way to hide and camouflage all that mess is to deck your messy low bun by adorning it with flowers!
