#Dupesday: Innisfree’s Blueberry Sun Cream Has A Dupe At Rs 175 Only And It Does An Amazing Job
They say one of the most important thing in skincare is SPF. And if you listen to my editor drone about it all day long, it is water. While I agree with the water bit, (her skin is fabulous), for the longest time, I was on the fence about sunscreen. But once I started, there was no going back. All I’ll say is that it’s the best decision I’ve made. While I am still fairly new to giving TLC to my skin, I am not afraid to try out new products every now and then! How very adventurous of me.
In most of my sunscreen or moisturiser articles, you have probably read me rant about how amazing my skin has become after trying out these moisturisers and sunscreen. I am a bit of a show off like that. My skin is getting better so I shall obviously flaunt it to the world. That’s why apply cream and you can jump on the bandwagon with me. We can chug along like two skincare sisters.
I was on the lookout for a sunscreen that would fit my budget and still actually do the job, that’s when I found the Innisfree Blueberry Sun Cream. The gooey white product is infused with blueberry and has a tint of a citrus smell to it, which is very refreshing. Once evenly applied all over your face, it completely absorbs in your skin without making your skin dry and stretchy, which is amazing. The hydration of this product is pretty neat. Until, of course, I decide to wash my face in the middle of the day because I’m dozing off.
I’ve even done my makeup while wearing this sunscreen and honestly, it was great because it actually kept the makeup in place. And nothing makes me happy than my makeup staying in place. And this product was worth its money too. For 800 bucks, you will get a new, refreshed unaffected-by-the-sun face.
Once I squeezed the life out of this product, it was about time for my next purchase and I wanted to explore my options. I wasn’t even looking for the price TBH but I happened to come across the Biotique sunscreen. With their products being a little too oily for summer, it is perfect to use during winters. It will not only moisturise your skin but will also protect it from the sun because that’s its job, technically. The hydration on this one will last you till the end of time. Sometimes even after I am home after a long day, my skin is still moisturised. And at this price point, it’s an absolute steal. But if you are willing to shell out extra bucks then Innisfree is amazing too.
