An Indulgent Morning Ritual With Decléor Aromessence Neroli Amara Oil Serum
The thing with skincare is that you have to be consistent and committed. You could have asked me for anything, and you choose to ask for commitment. Why? You can’t mask, exfoliate and pat on serum one night, and then pass out on the bed with makeup on, the next. Apparently, that’s not commitment. Well, that’s my commitment to sleep, that’s what it is.
Great skin requires you to put in effort constantly, every day, and your skin will thank you for it. But I have been chugging down lots of water, and making an alarming number of trips to pee, and great skin still hasn’t really made an appearance, so I am starting to get suspicious. But this week, a skincare brand Decleor made is debut and I have high hopes because this oil harnesses all the goodness of oils, and smells absolutely divine.
When you first look at the bottle of the Decléor Aromessence Neroli Amara Oil Serum, you are going to worry that you may have paid too much for too little. Worry not, you only need 2-3 drops every day for your face. So this is going to last you a long, long time.
First off, when I took in the fragrance, I noticed how it really calmed me down. I land up using it when I am fresh out of the shower to pump some hydration back into my skin. I follow it up with sunscreen and makeup. This works really well as a base, keeping my skin looking supple and hydrated. It goes on a little greasy but settles down in a few minutes. You do not want to take more than 3 drops in this hot weather though, your face could end up an oily mess.
They also have a recommended method to apply it, which is fascinating and lovely but will require your time. The application technique involves massaging your skin, tapping in the product and really working it in. I can either do this or get to work on time, so I usually opt for the latter and just tap it into my skin.
If you want something luxurious for your skin that feels like an indulgent start, this is perfect. You’ve to stick to it to see results though. Yes, it does mean you’ve to use it every day. And give it time, it’ll help your skin. Don’t rush, this is a skincare ritual, not a sale at Zara.
