#Cannes2016: Best Beauty Looks From Day 9
I don’t know if it was the weather that made everyone look sultry. But I have a sneaky suspicion, it was some kickass highlighter that was the cause of the all-over glowy, radiant skin every celebrity was sporting. Day 9 of the cannes Film Festival 2016 had some stunning looks that you simply must see.
Jessica Hart looked like the ultimate diva in her wavy, glossy, princess-y golden locks. I especially loved her nude-brown glossy lipstick, and kohl-rimmed eyes.
The first thing that struck me about Chanel Iman (apart from her kickass strobing, of course) were her halo braids. Absolutely gorgeous!
Milla wore summer-appropriate copper eyeshadow and a nude-gold lipstick. She wore her short hair in stylish tousled waves.
Doutzen Kroes wore her hair in a style reminiscent of the 1970s. Her long, wavy hair was teased at the crown for a voluminous look and pinned in a half-up half-down style.
I’m torn between admiring that glorious copper-gold eyeshadow, the intense strobing that’s making Elle fanning glow like a mystical creature, and the supremely pretty updo. Doesn’t that chunk of loose hair remind you of the 90s?
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore her hair sleek, straight, and super shiny. Loved the touch of bronzy-gold shadow and nude lipstick.
Pairing her red gown with a fire engine red lipstick is no biggie for someone like Katy Perry, who’s forever pushing the envelope with her daring, and edgy choices in hair and make-up.
I’m glad Vanessa Paradis went back to her grungy, wavy hair after sporting a blow dried look on the previous day. Also, that matte brown lipstick goes so well with her look.
Kristen Dunst wore sparkling silver eyeshadow with loads and loads of mascara. I think it looked fabulous paired with that bright fuchsia pout.
When your features are this striking you hardly need make-up, Karlie Kloss looked sharp with he centre-parted updo. I like the slight flush of colour on her cheeks and the bright tangerine-red lip colour.
Uma Thurman had a pretty teased updo going along with a neutral make-up palette. I liked the fact that she balanced it to keep the focus on her brilliant pink gown.
Irina Shayk looked radiant in her fresh-faced make-up and high ponytail.
Melissa George wore one of the prettiest lip shades for summer. That pretty coral-pink shade is what you need to stock up on guys!
Alexina Graham’s long red hair looked so beautiful in their natrual, lived-in texture. She looked beautiful with her hair pulled to one side and a sharp black winged-tip eyeliner.
I absolutely Love. Love. Love. Alessandra Ambrosio’s beachy waves. Oh! and let’s not even talk about her exquisite smokey eye. Who knew chocolate-brown eyeshadows can look this beautiful!
This day was definitely about braids. Look how effortlessly boho chic Petra Nemcova’s fanned out fishtail braid is.
Barbara Palvin was a vision in gold shadow, mascara, and a warm pink lipstick.
Apart from the dramatic eyelashes, Paris Hilton had a really pretty braided updo going on. It started off as two french braids that went all around her head and were knotted up together at the nape of her neck.
Jourdan Dunn looked amazing in an all-brown make-up look.
Jacquelyn Jablonski wore a ring of copper eyeshadow around her eyes, intensely strobed skin, and a fiery, glossy red lip.
I think Marion Cotillard’s plum-brown eyeshadow looked smashing against her blue eyes. Also, love the glossy mane!
Sonam Kapoor channeled a Jasmine from Aladdin vibe with her loosely French braided hair. The voluminous braid was held together by a gold string that was wound at the end.
