#Cannes2016: Best Beauty Looks From Day 7
Day 7 of the 69th edition the Cannes Film Festival 2016 saw a host of models on the red carpet. I would say Day 7 was all about risqué gowns, and when you are a Victoria’s Secret model there’s very little that you can’t carry off.
As far as hair and makeup were concerned, I’d say this day belonged to chiselled cheekbones!
Bella Hadid wore what was, IMO, one of the most daring dresses of all time. It’s a miracle she avoided any wardrobe malfunctions. She looked gorgeous in her side-swept bangs while the rest of her hair was put up in a French twist.
Ana Beatriz Barros
One thing is for sure, the smokey eye trend isn’t going anywhere. Ana Beatriz Barros looked striking in dark smokey eyes and a sleek high ponytail.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley pulled off a fiery red lip with her dramatic Alexandre Vauthier gown. The ease with which she carried off this stunning red-on-red combo is remarkable. Also, a moment’s silence for those chiselled cheekbones that look like they’ve been carved out of stone.
Eva Herzigova channelled a Marilyn Monroe-esque vibe with her white dress, and short hair styled in curls. I’m glad she opted for a nude lipstick to avoid looking caricature-ish.
Irina Shayk went for a nude makeup look and looked like the fresh-faced beauty that she is. Full marks to that fluffy, voluminous ponytail.
Alessandra Ambrosio wore a rather daring Michael Kors gown. I like the fact that she kept her hair and makeup simple and sharp to go with the streamlined look of the gown.
Maria Borges’ highlighter with gold accents is exactly how you must strobe this summer.
Catrinel Marlon wore the prettiest half-up half-down hairstyle. The centre-parted hair was twisted and held back with pins in a style that’s favoured by Dutchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.
Luma Grothe tied up her striking teal hair in a high ponytail and let her graphic black eye liner grab all the attention. She looked good!
