The Makeup Brush That Bushra Needs Blends Like A Pro

By  |

I have absolutely no shame in admitting that I feel like a little kid in a candy store when I’m in a makeup store. I can spend hours scanning each aisle, going through every product meticulously, swatching and swiping them on the back of my hand like a fascinated child. I absolutely hate being interrupted and prefer being on my own. I can’t stand the incessant chatter of my friends and prefer swapping information with the sales assistants instead. Needless to say, I’m always kicked about trying new makeup brands, products, gadgets, tools, the works.

Off late, I’ve been intrigued with beauty vloggers using a makeup brush that looks like a miniature version of a Victorian era brush used to scrub one’s back in a bath, to apply their foundations. A little snooping later I found that most were using the extremely classy-looking makeup brushes from Artis that come in so many delightful shapes and sizes that I wanted to add them to my stash ASAP. But the jaw-dropping price broke my heart and I did what every smart girl does — look for dupes!

Cailyn O! Wow Make Up Brush

The Cailyn O! Wow Make Up Brush has densely packed bristles made of ultra fine fibres. The dome-shaped bristles are velvety soft and ensure a flawless, streak-free finish. I like the angular design of the brush, which ensures that it can be worked effortlessly around the contours of the face. It builds smooth, natural-looking skin while offering full coverage, which is a rare feat!

The tilted handle means you don’t really have to put much effort in maneuvering the brush around your face. The brush works best with cream formulas. You can even use this with your moisturiser or BB cream as it helps your skincare penetrate deeper. This is the best thing to have happened to makeup brushes, IMO!
