‘Short hair, don’t care’ is a term I’ve been loving ever since I made the cut. For a girl with waist-length hair to go shoulder level is something that takes a lot of courage, if you ask me.

So when my hairstylist cut off about 7 long inches, I was both exhilarated and mortified. But a couple of months in, I can’t imagine going long again.

Not only is short hair easier to manage — just think of all the time you save washing it — it’s even easier to style. I spend half the time with my hot tools and even lesser time doing an updo.
