The Multi-Purpose Essence That Really Protects Aindrila’s Skin

The Multi-Purpose Essence That Really Protects Aindrila’s Skin

If you’re in your 30s and have a hectic social life like yours truly, it’s essential to take care of your skin. The tortuous city pollution, the scorching heat and, of course, the inevitable weekend cocktails show no solidarity when it comes to skincare. So, whether I like it or not, the cleanse-tone-moisturise routine is something I do not let go of, even if I have to go through it in wee hours of the morning. And I DO NOT leave the house without applying sunscreen.

So to find a product that not only protects against UV rays, but also shields premature skin ageing is nothing short of a heaven-sent miracle! If you’re 35, you’ll know exactly what I mean! Those tiny crow’s feet make me cringe and I’d give an arm and a leg to find a quick fix to solve this relevant (and really, really important) skin problem — ageing. Here I was religiously applying my daily sunscreen (at the cost of looking like a white ghost!) until I stumbled upon this great buy — The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi Protection Essence with SPF 50!

The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi Protection Essence

This product is great simply because of the versatility it boasts of. First, it’s feather-light (adios, ugly white sunscreen cast!); second, it has SPF 50 so it protects against UVB rays; and finally, the infused blend of red algae extract, Vitamin C, and marula oil helps in not only protecting the skin, but also gives your complexion a healthier glow, especially if you’ve religiously used it for an extended period! The only catch here is that the product isn’t available online. I know… boo hoo! But it will be available at The Body Shop stores from September. So put a bit of your salary aside for this beauty.
