The Best Beauty Looks From The Vogue Beauty Awards 2016

The Best Beauty Looks From The Vogue Beauty Awards 2016

When there’s an award dedicated to the best in beauty industry, we expect nothing but the best from our celebrities as far as hair and makeup is concerned. Here’s a round-up of some of the best looks we saw last night from the Vogue Beauty Awards 2016.

Aditi Rao Hydari Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

1. Aditi Rao Hydari

The actress went for a reverse smokey eye complete with fluttery lashes a la Kim Kardashian. Glossy mocha lips, kickass strobing, and dramatic brows held her look together. I wish she had done a better job with her hair, though.

Shibani Dandekar Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

2. Shibani Dandekar

Shibani Dandekar paired her H&M outfit with a cool half-up-half-down top knot. While I loved her taupe-hued metallic eyeshadow, I can’t say the same about her contouring and baking.

Radhika Apte Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

3. Radhika Apte

Over the last year, Radhika Apte has made red lips her go-to makeup look, and she stuck to her signature at the Awards too. She paired them with statement-making glossy, slicked-back hair. Alia Bhatt had worn a similar style at the 2015 Stardust Awards. Here‘s how you can cop the look.

Parineeti Chopra Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

4. Parineeti Chopra

While we don’t approve of matching your makeup to your outfit, sometimes playing matchy-matchy can actually pay off. Like Parineeti Chopra’s lipstick that matched her blush pink top. Good old black eyeliner and a full set of falsies completed her look.

Monica Dogra Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

5. Monica Dogra

Straight, sleek hair parted in the centre with strong brows and brown lipstick is how Monica Dogra dressed her face at the awards.

Mahira Khan Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

6. Mahira Khan

The Pakistani actress kept things elegant and understated with a loose low-do. While her makeup looked simple with some soft smokey black eyeliner and pink-nude lips, it was anything but basic. I see some clever and rather discreet use of glittery eyeshadow. Ladies, this is how you do glitter as adults!

Katrina Kaif Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

7. Katrina Kaif

While I’m a little disappointed with Katrina Kaif’s refusal to push the envelope in the hair and makeup department, there’s no denying that she looks pretty flawless with so little makeup. Her hair was styled in lived-in waves while she wore well-done brows, just a hint of eyeliner, and frosty pink lipstick.

Karishma Kapoor Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

8. Karisma Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor wore bold scarlet lips. However, I would like to see her in a look that does not centre around heavily done up eyes. After all, makeup is all about having fun, right?

Kalyani Saha Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

9. Kalyani Saha

Kalyani Saha killed it with her uber-glossy, slicked-back hair and the dark smokey eye makeup. It was perfection! Full marks to the lady for pulling off the look with elan!

Ileana D'Cruz Vogue Beauty Awards_Hauterfly

10. Ileana D’cruz

Whoever said you have to pick one feature and highlight it can take a hike. Ileana D’Cruz paired her strong brows with warm-toned smokey eye makeup and deep berry lips. The outcome? Stunning!
