Bella Hadid Is The Most Beautiful Woman In the World According To The Golden Ratio. We Knew That
In today’s news that made us go “Duh!”, supermodel Bella Hadid has been named ‘The Most Beautiful Woman In The World’. This, according to an age-old scientific method to analyze a woman’s beauty because why not use a formula to boost a woman’s confidence. Bella scored the perfect Golden Ratio. FYI, This mathematical calculation is a Greek method of defining what’s beautiful to look at and what’s not. In art, the golden ratio is used to create aesthetically pleasing portraits and paintings. Basically, based on the position of our lips, eyes, nose, chin, and ears, we can come up with a number to measure one’s physical beauty.
This is exactly what happened when a cosmetic surgeon ran the facial measurements of a bunch of celebrities through a mapping tool. Taking the length and width of a face into account, the ideal ratio for a “perfect” face is 1.6, a result that is impossible to achieve in reality. But supermodel Bella Hadid came the closest to it, making her a great beauty. As if we needed math to confirm that Bella is hella pretty!
The study was run by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva, who often uses the technique in his line of work.

According to Dr Julian, “Bella Hadid was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection. She had the highest overall reading for her chin which, with a score of 99.7 percent, is only 0.3 percent away from being the perfect shape”, he elaborated. He also added, “She also came second for her eye positioning. She is one of the new generations of supermodels and could dominate the profession for the next decade with her stunning looks. Her biggest weakness is in the brow area”. Uhm, weakness? The 23-year old is literally one of the most recognisable names in fashion, and we love her brows!

The study was compiled with other famous beauties and rounding out the top three were Beyonce and actress Amber Heard. Millennial faves Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift are also part of the top 10, with supermodel Cara Delevigne sweeping the scene with her famous bushy brows. All the findings have been elaborated in detail here and it definitely makes for an interesting read.
Having said that, we ourselves tried a Golden Ratio calculating tool and found some very interesting statistics about our face. It is interesting to see what mathematicians deemed to “pretty”, based on numbers. Certainly puts beauty standards from that Grecian era in perspective. There are many tools and apps which can give us our golden number when taken with a grain of salt. I mean, one app threw out a very high score for me and called me 17, so no.
