Aditi’s Rao Hydari’s Make-Up Is PERFECT For Date Night!
When in doubt, turn to Bollywood. That seems to be the mantra for a lot of people when they need hair or make-up inspiration. And why not, when we get such fabulous looks from our B-town beauties! Aditi Rao Hydari recently attended the Grazia Cover Girl Hunt 2016 event looking like a million bucks. However, what I couldn’t take my eyes off was her pretty eye make-up. Silver is an extremely tricky colour to pull off. It can go wrong so easily (hello space-age freak!), but Aditi not only aced the look she made me want to wear silver eye shadow right away! But I’m going to put off such thoughts (even though I like to push the envelope, silver eye shadow at work is highly inappropriate!), and keep this look for date night instead. Here’s how you can cop her look:
A smooth canvas is THE most important thing for flawless make-up. Dab The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream all over your face and massage it in thoroughly. This look is about the eyes, so the skin around your eyes need some TLC from Kaya Brightening And Firming Eye Serum. No amount of expertly applied make-up can mask tired, puffy eyes. Let your skin care products seep into your skin thoroughly before starting your make-up.
Work that base

Before you reach out for your eye shadow palette, grab that tube of NYX Cosmetics Proof It, which is an excellent waterproof eye shadow primer. Shimmery eye shadows are notorious for causing a lot of fallout, and they also tend to fade away in blotches (a situation you want to avoid at all costs). Next grab your eye shadow palette: I would recommend Makeup Academy Undress Me Too Pro Eye Palette which is a great dupe for Urban Decay’s legendary Naked2 Palette. Apply the shade ‘Naked’ from your crease line to your brown bone. This shade is a nearly nude colour with hardly any shimmer and works best with shimmery eye lids. Next, use the colour ‘Exposed’ all over your eyelids, but ensure you don’t go above the crease line. Use the same shadow to line the inner corners under your lower lashline. Line your waterline with L’Oréal Paris Kajal Magique. Curl your eye lashes to open up your eyes and coat them with two or three lashings of L’Oréal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara. To complete the look, add Ardell Individual Flare Black Eye Lashes.
Brush your brows upwards with a spoolie and fill them in using the Freedom Pro Eyebrow Kit. Brush them in place and set them with some clear mascara.
Add a hint of colour to your cheeks with Maybelline Dream Touch Blush, then use Colorbar Radiant Glow Face Illuminator on the bridge of your nose, the top of your chin and cheeks, and on your forehead and blend well.
Just apply L’Oréal Paris Color Riche l’Extraordinaire Shine Lipstick in Nude Ballet and you are done.
