This 3DHD Makeup Sponge Is The Queen Of All Blenders!
Yes, so we’re all obsessed with beauty blenders and, since its launch some years ago, the makeup industry has forgotten how to sustain without them. They come in all shapes and sizes, and are pro tools to help us blend all kinds of concealers, contours, foundations, and more. And we all know that there are many brands that have released their own versions of a miracle sponge — some wow and some ehh… So, when I found out there was a new sponge in the market, after the SiliSponge, I was like, “I’ve seen it all already!” And then, I found out it was a 3DHD sponge, and that kind of blew my mind.
Sigma, the holy grail of makeup brushes, recently launched a 3DHD sponge that kind of looks like a new-age sponge we would be using in the future. The co-founder of Sigma, Simon Xavier, holds a PhD in molecular biology, so she knows what she’s doing! She wanted to design a sponge that reaches all those hard-to-reach places. You know, the area in the inner corner of your eye, around your nose, and your lips; no sponge has done this 100% as well as it claims to.
The Sigma 3DHD Blender has 3 flat surfaces, an angular surface, and a round surface, literally making it perfect. It’s a larger sponge, which makes blending easier. Plus, its different surfaces can be used for multi-purpose makeup application. Like other sponges, it can be wet and has a great, flexible consistency when damp.
The sponge is yet to be released, but according to Sigma’s website, it’s coming soon. Soon enough, it’ll be available across the web and we, here in India, should be able to get our hands on it too! It will be available in a hot pink and black.
