Meet Mumbai’s Coolest Store — And It’s Totally Millennial-Friendly!

There’s a cool new store in town and it’s paradise for art lovers. Hidden in the bustling streets of Kala Ghoda Mumbai is Kulture Shop, a store that is dedicated to showcasing cool graphics.

Curating pieces from Indian graphic designers across the world, each design has a story to tell. From empowering messages, to quirky abstract work, there’s a backstory to each and every graphic. And of course, the artist is given credit, so you know whose work your purchasing.

All of the designs have very desi-esque feels to them — from the famous dabbawalas, to the chaiwalas, the artwork recreates certain city nuances all of us can relate to. And it’s definitely done in an uncommon, non-kitschy manner!

The prints can either be purchased on their own, or can be found reprinted across the various products the store holds. Which means you can find them on products like mugs, cushion covers, phone covers, notebooks, greeting cards, coasters, bags, and even t-shirts.

Everything being priced at a pocket-friendly range, products such as the notebooks start at just Rs 395, while the prints go up to around Rs 2,000 depending on size and framing.
