Netflix Is Now In India And We Couldn’t Be More Excited!

For those of you who’ve been living under a rock, Netflix is an online video streaming service chock full of amazing international TV shows and movies that you’ll happily spend days in bed watching. It’s almost like a video rental service except that it’s online, and there’s an affordable monthly fee that gives you access to all that amazing content to binge watch in your spare time. And t’s now finally available in India! Think of all the cool things you can now watch using your new account. All those unwatched episodes of Sex And The City, Gossip Girl reruns and FRIENDS! While most Hollywood movies and sitcoms get censored when they’re playing on Indian TV screens, thanks to Netflix you can now watch them pretty much as is.

1. Orange Is The New Black
This one revolves around Piper Chapman, a woman in her thirties who lives in New York City. Piper is sent to prison for 15 months for a crime she committed over 10 years ago, the one where she transported money to her then girlfriend who was a drug smuggler. In prison, Piper meets Alex, the ex girlfriend who was responsible for Piper being in prison. This comedy drama series has a fourth season that is scheduled to release sometime this year. 

2. Marvel’s Jessica Jones
Marvel’s Jessica Jones is a TV show created for Netflix based on the same Marvel comics character. A former superhero, Jessica Jones decides to start her own investigation agency after a tragic end to her superhero career. Jessica Jones is now trying to rebuild her life by taking cases which revolve around people with extraordinary abilities in New York City. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t watch this one!

3. Narcos
If you loved Breaking Bad, you’ll love this one too. The show’s tagline reads, “There’s no business like blow business” and riffs on that famous line about show business. This series chronicles the inner workings of Columbian kingpin Pablo Escobar’s life and cartel in the 1980s and 90s, and all the attempts to take him down.

4. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
If you love chic flicks, this one’s something you wouldn’t want to miss. Watch Kimmy as she moves to New York to bring her life together on being rescued after 15 years from a cult. Kimmy lives with Titus, an actor who struggles to meet ends and together the two of them decide to help each other out by Titus introducing Kimmy to current life and Kimmy sharing her enthusiasm and inspiration with him to make the best out of everything.

5. Grace And Frankie
This comedy drama revolves around two middle aged women who’ve been rivals all their life. Their world comes tumbling down when they find out that their husbands who’ve been business partners are actually romantically involved for over 20 years and want to get married now. With their entire life falling apart, the only thing they have is each other to rely on.
