Mumbai Gets Its First Floating Hotel And It Is Luxury Personified

You now have yet another reason to head to the Bandra-Worli sea link. After a delay of 2 years, AB Celestial, the luxury yacht, has finally reached Mumbai and we cannot be happier!

This 3-storey hotel is every water baby’s dream come true, and to top it up with some fancy wining and dining is just the cherry on the top. Even though this concept isn’t new, and has already been seen in Goa, Kerala and West Bengal, we’re still pretty excited.

The hotel has all the facilities that your usual ones have, with a 24-hour coffee shop on the ground floor, a banquet hall on the first, and an amazing lounge bar on the top floor with an open deck. Yes, we are also thinking about the 360-degree view of the Arabian sea from there. Date nights certainly got a lot classier (and more expensive), you guys.

The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has launched this venture in association with WB International Consultant and AB Hospitality that own many other cruises and yachts in the USA. Inaugurated by the Tourism Minister of Maharashtra, Chhagan Bhujbal, this ship is open to all from today. But some parts of the ship are under development.

Online bookings are going to be open soon on their website and we recommend that you book a table well in advance to enjoy a good meal.
