Kangana Ranaut Looks So Sleek On Femina’s March Cover
Guess who features on the cover of Femina‘s March 2016 issue? It’s Hauterfly‘s favourite fashionista Kangana Ranaut, along with her sister Rangoli Chandel. Ahead of Women’s Day on March 8, it’s great to see that the sisters are on the cover talking about their personal and professional bond, considering both stories of trials and success are extremely inspiring.
Frankly, I love it when magazines get Kangana to ditch her ladylike image for something sleek and chic — just like Femina has done here. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that Kangana doesn’t channel a classic look perfectly. In fact, I think she does it better than anyone. But if there’s one avatar she can totally nail, it is the sleek, glam-meets-grunge one. Get her to don a minimal look, and the actress will still bring an innate edgy character out to play. And that’s enough reason why she’s our ultimate style hero.
While this cover is not as EDGY as a previous one Kangana featured on, I think she looks fabulous. Styled by Isha Bhansali, the all-monotone look, both on Kangana and Rangoli, is highly appealing. I love the trim and tailored look. She exudes confidence in an ensemble by Sahil Aneja that includes an asymmetrical shirt and neoprene jacket from his Fall/Winter 2015 collection. The look is completed with Dior shoes and a minimal yet dramatic gold cuff and rings by Dolly J (LOVE IT). The make-up is subtle, and I love how chic her tresses look all coiffed up like that.
Rangoli, on the other hand, wears a Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna blouse and a Federer glass leather neoprene gown by Anand Bhushan. The ensemble is completed with a pair of Swarovski earrings and shoes from Dior. She looks just as fierce as her sister!
