Bookworms, rejoice! Harper Collins has great news for every Delhiite. It’s time to pick up your backpacks and stuff them with all your favourite books. At Harper Collins’ Delhi warehouse, be prepared to make your inner geek happy.

Harper Collins is hosting a garage sale on June 24 and 25, 2016. But it’s not your average garage sale. There’s going to be over 100,000 books for sale across several genres and the prices will have you scuttling over to bag the best of the lot. Apparently, the paperbacks here will be priced at Rs 25 and hardbound books just Rs 50! Also expect to find box collections, marked down by 90 per cent of the market rates. Original Harper Collins books at steal prices? Shut up and take my money already!

What’s more, their coffee table books will be priced at a mere Rs 100! If you wanted to purchase that fancy little book all those months ago but found it to be a little beyond your budget, now’s the time. If you’re a bookseller or a distributor though, this garage sale is closed for you. This one’s only for the readers. Think of it as an indulgence of sorts and make the most of it.

The best part? 20 per cent of the sales proceedings will be going to Friendicoes, a Delhi-based animal welfare organisation. So you will be doing your two bits in giving an animal some shelter and love by purchasing books from this sale. Mixing philanthropy with my hobby? I’m game!
