The MacBook Sleeve That Speaks To The Fashion Girl In Zahra

The MacBook Sleeve That Speaks To The Fashion Girl In Zahra

It’s almost 2017, you guys! And I couldn’t be happier. This past year has seen its fair share of ups and downs, and I can’t wait to start the new year on a more positive (and pink!) note. And one of my very first purchases of 2017 is this new Macbook Air laptop sleeve by this cool website called Daily Objects.

The site has some seriously creative graphic art transposed onto laptop sleeves, phone covers, cushions, tote bags, and the works. Seriously guys, you should check it out if you’re in the market to dress up your tech accessories in some funky designs. The one I’ve picked is by my favourite graphic designer Shweta Malhotra. You’ll recognise her from the feature we did on her earlier this year!

Daily Objects Watanabe Ramp Leather Macbook Sleeve

The minimalist illustration is Shweta’s take on a look from Japanese designer Junya Watanabe’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Inspired by the visually evocative collection’s geometric forms, space-age head gear, pop colours, and graphic makeup, Malhotra decided to illustrate her interpretation for a personal side project dubbed Something Cool Everyday. And I have to say, this art work is one of my favourite fashion illustrations from her vast repertiore of really cool work. (You can see more of her stuff here.)

The laptop sleeve is made of poly-cotton on the front and has an incredible photo-realist print quality, with real tan leather on the back and the flap. The handcrafted designer sleeve will not only protect your pricey gadget from nasty sratches and bumps, but also give it a stylish new makeover that’s deserving of a brand spanking new year!
