Sonam Kapoor And Anand Ahuja’s Love Story Will Make You Want To Cry!

By  |

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja just tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, and the whole country is congratulating the beautiful couple. But the tale of how they met and fell in love is even more beautiful!

In 2014, they were introduced to each other by a common friend, Pernia Qureshi, who happens to be a style icon and fashion entrepreneur. Sonam and Anand began dating within a month of that first meeting, and the rest as they say, is history. The question at hand is — why are my friends useless? Why can’t they find me my soulmate?

Throughout their dating period, both of them remained tight-lipped about their relationship. They maintained that they didn’t want to comment on their personal life but kept their fans, and the papzz happy by uploading cutesy stuff on Instagram. Whether it was their New York trip, Sonam’s birthday, or goofy, everyday videos… they established without a doubt that they are one of the happiest couples in the industry.

Anand actually told Vogue, that Sonam was his ‘millennial’ style crush. Ahhh… young love is beaut, no?

Their first public appearance was the premiere of Rustom in 2016, and then again during the Art Fair. It was clear that Cupid had hit them, and hit them quite hard!

From sweet social media banter, loving each other’s style, long distance Skype calls, and always appreciating each other’s career success… they’ve come a long way. Now that Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are married, our faith in true love is restored.
