Our December.., no wait, our year just got made. If you are an animal lover, imagine this scenario: a ground full of pets — some 3,000 of them — stalls filled with food, a fashion show where dogs are the showstoppers, a cat zone where little kittens are loitering around, and a live band playing in the background. Yes, your dreams are about to become reality.
There is a fantastic pet fest happening in the capital this weekend, at NSIC Grounds, Okhla, from 10 am to 8 pm. Say hello to Pet Fed, India’s largest pet festival, and we can guarantee it’s the one of its kind around right now.

1. There’ll be lots of yummy food
Food and your favourite furry friends, together under one roof? Best scenario, right? Apart from normal snacks for humans, the pet cafe Puppychino is going to have an array of pet food like pizzas and doggy beers lined up, to make sure that they have the best day of their lives! Over 100 stalls and live music will also make the place lit AF!
2. Also, a fashion show with Dino Morea
Sign up your cuties to walk the ramp, looking all fancy and fab! What’s more, the showstopper dog will be walking with that dreamboat Dino Morea. Know more here.
3. A potential Guinness world record
Pet Fed is about to find a spot in the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records — or atleast they’re trying to! The record will be around 3,000 dogs in one place, wearing bandanas. (Yes! Dying of cuteness!) If you are there, make sure your pooch is following the dress code.
4. A guaranteed activity-filled day
Our pets are hyperactive, always excited to play, and do something fun. Keeping that in mind, there are going to be a whole host of activities like dog swings for the cuddly critters, a cat zone where the little munchkins can go crazy, and an art gallery for dogs, where they can admire and even display their artistic talent! Plus, a bakery that will specially roll out treats for them!
5. Seriously… just go!
There is a special area where your kids can hang out with their furry pals, giving you ample time for yourself. There will also be an awards night to felicitate those who have been working tirelessly for the betterment of animals. When there are sooooo much amazing happening in one place, you just HAVE to be there, don’t you?!
