#AskHauterfly: How To Stay Fit During The Monsoon?

Monsoon is that guest we all love to hate. Among the many things that we completely skip during these months is our fitness regimes. Even if we’re totally committed about our health and fitness through the year, the rains give us a fabulous excuse to not move an inch.

Well, we’re here to change that. Here are a few easy tips for you to stay fit in the rains, and you won’t have to step out of the house either. So, goodbye laziness and hello beach body!

Just keep those pakoda cravings at bay. That’s really it.

1. Start Doing Yoga Already

I’m sure, by now, you have heard this way too many times, but yoga really is the simplest workout to do inside the comfort of your 4 walls. Even if it’s for 15-20 minutes, try a few asanas in the morning and you’ll feel at peace. Just imagine the sound of the rain outside while you calm your entire being.

2. Clean Your Homes

It’s time to take charge and pick up that dusting cloth. Clean the shelves, sweep the floors, and basically befriend your broom. Trust me, you will get a lot healthier.

3. Use That Chair

The chair was designed to sit, but how about you use it to exercise? Do push-ups, sit-ups, and lunges using the chair and you will automatically realise that it is a lot better than doing it the regular way.

4. Dance Like No One’s Watching

Put on your favourite song, create a little space around you, and burn that fat by dancing like nobody’s watching. There some fun and fitness together! Win-win, guys.

5. Step Up Or Down

Going up and down on the stairs is the oldest and best form of exercise known to mankind. You can even find an elevated level at your home and do this repeatedly on it.
