The Winning Photos From This Year’s iPhone Photography Awards Will Blow Your Mind
The annual iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) 2017 took place recently and the 10th year of the event, as always, saw some fantastic entries. Once you see the winning photographs, it’ll be hard for you to believe that they were all shot on iPhones.
The Grand Prize Winner of the Photographer of the Year Award went to Sebastian Tomada from New York City, USA, for his entry ‘Children of Qayyarah’. It is a goosebump-inducing image of 2 children in Iraq, amidst the smoke of war, shot on November 4, 2016.
1st Place, Brendan O Se of Cork
2nd Place, Yeow-Kwang Yeo
3rd Place, Kuanglong Zhang
The first, second, and third place photographers of the year awards went to Brendan O Se of Cork, Ireland, for his image of a Dock Worker, Yeow-Kwang Yeo of Singapore, for his entry of The Performer, and Kuanglong Zhang of Shenzhen, China, for his image of The City Palace.
