#HauteHack: How To Fix A Broken Nail!
There is that moment in every girl’s life where she has a big event to attend and – BAM! – a tiny little split or paper-thin chip appears on your nail at the last minute. Sounds familiar? Split and broken nails are really painful, and can really get in the way of that Pinterest-worthy nail art. If you’re wondering how to fix a broken nail, then here goes…
The quickest hack to fix that broken nail is right in your kitchen! All you need is a tea bag! This trick will barely take 10 minutes, and once your nail grows out, it’ll be back to normal again.
Step 1: Apply a clear coat of nail paint on your nails.
Step 2: Cut a small rectangular piece of the filter paper to fit the area of the broken nail, and place it on the top coat while it is still a little sticky.
Step 3: Apply that piece on the nail in order to cover the broken area and pat it down to remove any air bubbles.
Step 4: Once the base coat dries, apply another coat of clear nail polish on it, and watch the tea bag become translucent.
Step 5: Take a sharp nail filler and file away all the excess filter paper from the tip of your nail.
Voila! You are all set to apply your favourite nail paint without worrying about your nail chipping!
