#HauteSpaces: The New Bangalore Social Is Going Green!
Who doesn’t love a pretty home/work space? I know the answer to that one. So now, every week, I will go in search for the most stunning indoor spaces in our country that will inspire the inner decorator in you. Unique, colourful, or quirky, these photo stories are sure to leave you spellbound, like mouth-hanging-open spellbound. If you know or use a space that fits the description, ping me and we can chat! It can be anything from a home to an office, a studio to a restaurant — if it is fun, I’m game!
After 14 outlets across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, the new Social has opened in Koramangala, Bangalore. From the cutlery that has made it to every Snapchat story to the drinks that people can’t stop talking about, Social has become a phenomena, one which is growing exponentially. It shot to fame after Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were seen chilling there in Tamasha. And adding to the success is this new outlet. Why, you ask? Because it has decided to take a different route in terms of its décor.
The décor at all the restaurants under this banner is a class apart, whether it is the rustic space in Mumbai or the quirky brick wall in Delhi. The third Social in Bangalore, however, has decided to go green! Yes, it literally replicates a jungle. Trying to add a breath of fresh air to the otherwise concrete jungle, this one is a must-visit for everyone who likes good food, amazing drinks, and, above all, a soothing space. Like every other Social, this one, too, is a co-working space by day and a party hub at night.
A massive 13,000 square feet space, it sprawls across two floors. Long wooden tables line the floors, obviously surrounded by tons of plants, making this the perfect space for people to think and work. The glass ceiling allows the natural light to beam in and, at night, you can see the stars shine through. My favourite part would definitely be the roof area. Imagine enjoying a delicious meal, breathing in fresh, clean air, and sipping on a Bloody Mary here! The cutlery, the menus, and the WiFi follow the usual Social tradition.
Next time you’re in the IT city, you know where to schedule all your meetings at. For some reason, it is giving me some serious Madagascar feels. Take a look at this gorgeous space and tell me if you agree!
