#HauteSounds: We’re Listening To Kygo’s Latest Drop On Loop
You know how there are some musicians that make our heart flutter every time we hear them? Kygo is one of them. The 25-year-old chocolate boy is a treat for the ears and eyes. The Norwegian music producer did something unexpected last week, without any hype — he uploaded his mix of the hit track Starboy by The Weeknd and Daft Punk. And it is beautiful.
Keeping the original hip hop beats while adding his own melodious sounds to it, Kygo sure has created a masterpiece. Quite unlike his usual style, we love what we hear. Combining 2 distinct genres in his rendition totally paid off. This track is going to be etched in our minds for a long time.
He sort of went MIA after his historic stint at the closing ceremony of the Rio Olympics, where he became the first home producer to perform at such a great level. This guy has had his way with remixes; in fact, he became popular because of his remix of Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire. After a few singles, he launched his debut album, Cloud Nine, earlier this year in May. We cannot wait for what he throws at us next.
In other news, The Weeknd and Daft Punk are working on a collab again! Watch this space for more on that. Till then, groove to the tunes of Kyrre aka Kygo.
