This Artist Indianised American Rappers And It’s Hilarious AF!

The internet is the gift that keeps on giving. The amount of fun stuff you come across both online as well as on social media is crazy, and the one thing has become a bonafide trend is funky illustrations. Just last week, we showed you some badass celebrity illustrations of Bollywood actresses that were totally amazing. And this week, graphic artist Aman Rajwansh has killed it with his illustrations of American singers in desi avatars.

This Jalandhar-based designer wanted to mash up the two cultures and give it a masaledaar twist, and that’s how his funny AF project Desi Kalakaar was born. He regularly uploads his artworks on Facebook and Instagram, but his new project has really taken off in a big way. Obviously inspired by Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh’s hit song, he gives some of the biggest international musicians a desi twist by reimagining them as everyday Indian men. Honestly, we’ve never thought of our favourite rappers like this, and you’ve got to see this to believe it!
