The Poster for ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’ Is FINALLY Out!

It turns out that Harry Potter And The Cursed Child was not the only thing J.K. Rowling had in store for Potterheads! Remember Hermione Granger saying, “I’ve read about it. It’s all right there in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them!” or something along those lines? This fictional textbook (which she also published in 2001) from the famous Harry Potter series is now being made into a film.

And Warner Bros. has just released the official poster for the film at a special event held in California and we couldn’t be more excited. The poster features Eddie Redmayne (as Newt Scamander, the author of the fictional textbook) standing atop a decrepit building, holding onto his glowing wand. The faint yellow and black shades on his scarf reveal that he belonged to Hufflepuff House while at Hogwarts.

The book itself includes information on 85 different magical species that Scamander discovers on his travels across the globe. The story is set about 70 years before any of the events of the Harry Potter series took place, in New York. It follows the adventures of Newt Scamander, as he tries to retrieve the various magical creatures that have escaped from his care. Apart from Redmayne, the spinoff also includes actors Katherine Waterson, Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler, and Samantha Morton.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them has been directed by David Yates, who returns to the franchise, and we cannot wait to watch the magic unfold on the big screen! The film is slated to release on November 18, 2016. Rumours are already swirling that the film is also going to have a sequel.

Excited? So are we! If you missed the trailer, watch it below.
