Game Of Thrones Season 7 Release Date And Trailer Are Out And The Wait May Kill Us

Just a few hours ago, HBO gifted GoT fans a sneak peak into the next season and boy, are we excited! The first episode will be out on July 16, 2017. But the makers didn’t take the normal route of announcing the date, they chose something totally in sync with the concept of the show.

They made a few fans burn down a huge ice block, which had the release date written inside. That’s not it. They showed the whole process live and it went on for 69 minutes. Yes, people all around the world were watching an ice block melt for over an hour.

Fans had to comment ‘FIRE’ for one blast of fire and ‘DRACARYS’ for two. Torturous, but so rewarding.

Shortly afterward, they released a one-minute trailer that doesn’t really tell us anything, but still gives us the chills. You see the dragons that may represent the houses and voiceovers of different characters, including Ned Stark from previous seasons, in the snippet. It takes us back to where it all started.

The trailer ends with Jon Snow’s voice saying, “There’s only one war that matters: the Great War. And it is here.”

Yes, I’m shitting bricks too.

Watch it and just hope you can survive the long wait till July.
