5 Artists To Look Forward To At Absolut Enchanted Valley Carnival 2016
The Absolut Enchanted Valley Carnival is back once again and looks super promising — a two-day camping and music festival that is sure to give you nothing but good vibes and good times. Taking place at the gorgeous Aamby Valley City, Lonavala, with a line-up that is bound to get you grooving, there is nowhere else you would want to be on December 17 and 18.
Among the 50 odd artists that are going to win your heart, we have picked our top 5 favourites. It was a difficult task as all of them are amazing, but we managed.
1. Arijit Singh
All eyes and ears will definitely be on the young singer who has now become a phenomena. Bollywood playback singer Arijit Singh aces with every song and every project he takes on. If he can make Chris Martin sing one of his songs, then he can do anything. Break-up remedy and the perfect romance setter, he is one act you should definitely not miss. Also, he is going to be playing a two-and-a-half hour set with a 37-piece symphony band! Cannot get more amazing, can it?
2. Alan Walker
18-year-old Norwegian sensation Alan Walker started his journey with Fade just a year ago and has now become a sensation of sorts. He will be making his India festival debut with AEVC this year, and we are really excited to watch him live. He is a gamer and a graphic designer who started making music as a hobby. Well, clearly that turned out really well. In fact, even if go to the festival just for him, it’ll be totally worth it!
This 19-year-old Italian DJ is a serious party starter. She has the tunes to make you groove all night long. Gioli is coming all the way from Milan, and it would be a sin to not watch her perform live. From playing drums in discos in 2014 to performing around the world just 2 years later, she is the inspiration you need. Watch her work her magic at AEVC’s after-party.
4. Hot Since 82
Coming all the way from the UK is this extremely talented and smoking hot music producer, Daley Padley. He is popularly known by his stage name, Hot Since 82. With tech house as his forte, he is sure to turn things up at the AEVC this year.
5. Juggy D & Rishi Rich
Jagwinder Singh Dhariwal and Rishal Singh Dekhi are 2 people whose parents wouldn’t have expected their sons to have changed their names so drastically. Both were born in London and have become big names in UK’s music scene. In fact, it is safe to say that Rishi gave Juggy the career boost he needed, with The Rishi Rich Project. They have previously worked together in Bollywood movies too, and will be seen making a comeback together at AEVC for the first time in 10 years, burning the dance floor with epic Bhangra tunes. You definitely don’t want to miss this one!
