8 Ways To Add A Pop Of Colour To Your Homes

By  |

According to me, the best part about home décor is getting to play with colours. Obsessing over paint cards, oohing and aahing over buttery smooth couches of various shades, and picking out curtains and rugs to match are stuff dreams are made of! But if you’re someone who lives and breathes B&W, using colours in your home must be a frightful thought.

However, when you really think about it, you’ll see that using colours in your home is the best thing you could ever do for it. Sure, black and white rooms look uber sophisticated and can please any minimalist’s heart. But it is the use of bright pops of colour in your homes that can actually spread happiness. Think colourful textured walls, a pleasing spill of colour on the couch in the form of throws….I’m smiling already! You don’t even have to go overboard. Something as simple as a brightly painted chair or a wall mural can do loads to up your home’s style quotient.

Don’t get me wrong. I like monochrome as much as the next person. But I also feel that a little bit of colour never hurt anybody! If you want to revamp your home or your room this festive season, we have some décor inspo right here. These picturesque photos will give you ideas on how you can decorate your space using all your favourite colours, without making it look like a rainbow exploded in your house!
